The Service

When a Tree Has to Come Down, Get It Done Safely.

Tree removal is one of the most dangerous jobs in the trades. Unpredictable lean, hidden decay, power lines, and falling limbs make it no place for guesswork — or a weekend with a rented chainsaw. Our crews are trained, equipped, and insured to take trees down in control, even in the tightest spots.

  • Any size or height — from backyard maples to towering pines
  • Hazardous, dead, diseased, and storm-damaged trees
  • Tight-access and technical removals near homes & lines
  • Full cleanup and haul-away included on every job
  • Optional stump grinding and on-site wood processing

What's Included

Everything You Need, One Crew.

No subcontractors, no surprises. From the first assessment to the final rake, it's handled.

Free Hazard Assessment

We evaluate lean, decay, targets, and access before we quote — so you get an honest plan and a firm, written price.

Precision Rigging & Felling

Controlled rope-and-rigging removals that protect your home, fence, and landscaping. No drop-and-pray.

Any Size, Any Access

Towering pines, backyard giants, trees crowding the house or power lines — difficult access is our specialty.

Complete Cleanup & Haul-Away

Branches chipped, logs handled, debris gone. We leave the site spotless — that's standard, not an upsell.

Stump Grinding Available

Want the stump gone too? We can grind it below grade in the same visit. One crew, one invoice.

Your Wood, Your Way

Keep the logs, have them milled into lumber, or split into firewood — or we haul it all. Your call.

Warning Signs

Not Sure If It Needs to Come Down? Watch for These.

A failing tree rarely fails all at once — it warns you first. If you spot any of these, it's worth a look:

  • Large dead, broken, or hanging limbs
  • The trunk is leaning suddenly, or more than before
  • Cracks, cavities, or soft, crumbling wood
  • Mushrooms or fungus growing at the base
  • Roots lifting sidewalks, driveways, or foundation
  • Storm damage, a split trunk, or a partial uproot
  • It's growing into the house, roof, or power lines
When in doubt, call us. A free assessment costs nothing — and sometimes the answer is pruning, not removal. We'll tell you straight.

Common Questions

Tree Removal, Answered.

Every tree is different, so we give free, written estimates — usually within one business day. Price depends on the tree's size and height, its location and access, the hazards involved, and whether you want the stump ground or the wood processed. Whatever we quote is the price you pay — no surprise charges.

We can. Stump grinding is a separate service, but we're happy to handle it in the same visit so you're dealing with one crew and one invoice. Just ask when you book and we'll include it in your quote.

Yes — we offer 24/7 emergency response for fallen trees, limbs on structures, and hazardous storm damage across western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota. Call (715) 222-8730 any time, day or night.

We take real steps to protect your property — controlled rigging, careful equipment placement, and protective measures in the work zone. Our goal is to leave your yard looking like we were barely there, aside from the tree that's gone.

It depends on your city or township and whether the tree is on your property or a boulevard/protected tree. Permitting is the property owner's responsibility, but we're glad to point you in the right direction based on where you are.

Your choice. We can haul it all away, mill the logs on-site into usable lumber, or cut and split it into firewood for you — turning a removal into something useful instead of waste.
