Price depends on the stump's diameter, the root spread, soil conditions, and how easy it is to access. We give free, written estimates up front so you know the full price before we start. There are no surprise charges.
We typically grind 6 inches or more below grade — deep enough for sod, seed, or new plantings to go right over the spot. If you have a specific depth in mind (for a patio or build, for example), just let us know when you book.
We grind the stump and the major surface roots down below grade. The fine feeder roots deeper in the soil will decompose naturally over time. For most lawns, this is more than enough — the area looks and functions like the stump was never there.
Your choice. We can rake them up and haul them away, or spread them in your garden beds as mulch. Either way, the area is left clean and level when we're done.
Yes — we have compact equipment sized for tight access, narrow gates, and difficult terrain. If we can walk to it, we can typically grind it. We'll assess access when we come out for the estimate.
